$4.55 million in 2008-2009!
United Way of the Piedmont ended its 2009 campaign year in June, raising $4.55 million in Spartanburg, Union and Cherokee counties. Sixty-two of the 259 companies that conducted United Way campaigns saw double-digit percentage increases in giving, despite a weak economy.
This year, we are providing $2.25 million in funding for 135 programs in 75 agencies within the three counties served by United Way of the Piedmont. Thank you for making your mark!
