The Piedmont Area Center for Boardsmanship is a collaboration between United Way of the Piedmont and the Mary Black Foundation. We seek to support healthy governance within non-profit organizations by providing a vehicle for board placement, communication, resources and education. United Way offers a quarterly workshop on the 10 basic responsibilities of non-profit boards of directors. The workshop is free and open to the public.
