During Week of Caring 2007, United Way mobilized over 500 volunteers to complete
55 volunteer projects in our community.
The first full week of September each fall is designated United Way of the Piedmont’s
Week of Caring! During the week (with Labor Day off!), United Way works with
local corporations and groups to complete volunteer projects throughout our community.
Take a look at a few images from Week of Caring projects.
You and your colleagues can participate by adopting a volunteer project. Projects
are tailored to the interests and time constraints of your organization. We have
volunteer opportunities as simple as conducting a canned-good drive or as involved
as repainting a room at a local shelter.
