Last year, 30,000 people were involved in our workplace campaigns.
We're looking forward to a great year for 2007/2008, and we want you to be involved
with your company's employee campaign. Campaign Coordinator meetings have already
taken place and committee members are hard at work to bring you the most recent
information on how your dollars make a difference in our community.
For 2006/2007, workplace campaigns generated. $4.2 million dollars, 13% over
our $3.8 million goal! We had 20 companies run 1st time campaigns, resulting in
$80,000 new dollars and 225 volunteer hours. New workplace campaigns are especially
important because we reach individuals who might have never heard the message
of United Way -- the message that we are all about changing the conditions that
affect people’s lives – right here at home.
