![]() ADVOCATEAnyone can champion a cause. In YLS, you learn from those who have seen the issues and have stepped out to make a difference whether in business or in society. Learn & Act.Lunch with Leaders Quarterly luncheons give YLS members a chance to interact with community leaders. The exclusive event is limited to 20 members to ensure an intimate conversational experience. The hosts discuss their areas of expertise, their journey to the tops of their fields, and what means to be a community leader.Coming January 2011 YLS Fellowes will get an in-depth look at the issues surrounding financial stability, youth at risk behaviors and school readiness while learning what it means to be a nonprofit organization in Spartnaburg County. Once a month, January through May, Fellowes will gather to learn together and empower one another.

Young Leaders AwardEach year, The Walter S. Montgomery, Sr. Young Leader Award honors a young leader of the community who exhibits uncommon generosity, involvement and leadership in serving human service organizations and initiatives.
