Join United Way of the Piedmont’s Young Leaders group in hosting “Week of the Young Child” at the Early Learning Center at Park Hills! Whether you sign up for one day or every day, by yourself or with your team, we’d love to have you there!
The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration hosted by NAEYC to spotlight early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities. From April 13-17, 2020, we’ll be celebrating our youngest learners with five fun-filled, themed days!
Children learn so much as they enjoy music, explore food and cooking, build together, create art, and celebrate their families! You are also showing your support of high-quality early learning, and highlighting the critical role early childhood educators play in a child’s development and learning.
The Early Learning Center at Park Hills has nine 4K classes that will participate in Week of the Young Child activities each day.
We need volunteers every day to oversee the activities happening for these themes: Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday, Family Friday.
