Community honors Dr. King through service on MLK Day

United Way of the Piedmont hosts a community-wide day of service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on MLK Day. Students and community members volunteer at projects across the community to give back and make MLK Day a day ON instead of OFF.

This year 487 volunteers served 900 hours at 27 projects, generating $22,221 worth of community impact.
