Program Overview

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Spartanburg is a program of the Corporation of National & Community Service. It is locally sponsored by United Way of the Piedmont. The purpose of RSVP is two-fold: first, provide meaningful, impactful volunteer experiences to valued members of our community, age 55 and older. Second, through these experiences, increase the capacity, effectiveness, and scope of partner agencies. RSVP volunteers serve in a wide variety of capacities throughout the community, improving educational outcomes, helping individuals achieve financial stability, and providing vital health services.
