Five women were honored Saturday at the second annual Women’s Leadership Luncheon held in Spartanburg.
The luncheon was presented by The Spartanburg County Foundation and The Mary L. Thomas Award for Civic Leadership and Community Change Fund hosted at The Piedmont Club.
The honorees included Jennifer Parker, Founding and Executive Director of the Child Protection Training Center at the University of South Carolina Upstate; Judge Erika McJimpsey with the City of Spartanburg; Jennifer Evins, President and CEO of the Chapman Cultural Center; Margarette Bell-Miller, former director of the Margarette Bell Dancers; and Wilma Moore, Highland Community Outreach Advocate with the United Way of the Piedmont.
“We are here to celebrate women who are leading change in the greater Spartanburg County area,” said Mary Thomas, The Spartanburg County
