Mays Family Resource Center by developing community development strategies, communication materials, and grant proposals to expand resources like job training for Pacolet residents. Internal Strategy and Program Developer VISTA

The Internal Strategy and Program Developer VISTA Member will build the capacity of The Bethlehem Center by developing and implementing a system to collect and analyze data on internal programs. These efforts will support the Center’s nearly 100-year mission of serving Spartanburg, South Carolina through financial literacy, early learning, and youth services. Volunteer & Engagement Coordinator VISTA

Location: Spartanburg, SC

The Volunteer & Engagement Coordinator VISTA Member will build the capacity of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate by strengthening volunteer recruitment, retention, and community partnerships for low-income youth in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties, South Carolina. These efforts will enhance outreach, raise awareness of mentorship opportunities, and improve volunteer engagement. As a result of the VISTA Member’s service, BBBSU will expand its program reach and deepen the impact of mentoring on youth development.

Community Engagement VISTA

The Community Engagement VISTA Member will build the capacity of Converse University’s Valkyrie Supply by developing community partnerships to expand its visibility, network, and resources. The Resource Development and Engagement VISTA Member will build the capacity of Greer Relief by developing and implementing a fundraising plan, pursuing grant opportunities, and increasing donor and community engagement.
